PPCR have been invited by East Thames (part of the L&Q Group) to provide Tenant Support Services for residents of New Union Wharf, Isle of Dogs. Once the incumbent Advisor retires in late May PPCR will act as the Independent Tenant Adviser for the Estate residents.

New Union Wharf estate is being transformed in partnership with the residents, through a rolling decant programme, from a 100% social housing estate to a mixed tenure development.

Residents on the estate have been heavily involved in the decision to go ahead with the regeneration. Hill Partnership was selected by East Thames in 2013 with inputs from the estate residents to carry out the regeneration work.

The New Union Wharf estate regeneration will see the existing 189 homes replaced by 399 modern, energy efficient homes. Residents have been working closely with East Thames and contractor, Hill Partnership, to ensure that the new estate meets the needs and expectations of the existing residents and local community.
