Dollis Valley Estate Regeneration Scheme was shortlisted for the Planning Permission of the Year Award
The Dollis Valley Estate Regeneration Scheme was short listed for the Planning Permission of the Year Award.
Michael Spyrides, Senior Regeneration Officer, went to the Annual Planning Awards Ceremony in Central London on the 18th November in the evening, together with Nigel Eade (Dollis Valley resident) the Chairman of the Dollis Valley Partnership Board.
The turnout for the event was huge, and Michael Spyrides is happy to say that the Dollis Valley scheme was highly commended and was runner up to the 4,000 unit scheme in Aldershot. If volume is the flavour of the judges, then there’s hope for Brent Cross to win next year then.
Many congratulations to all involved at Barnet (especially the planners), and of course congratulations to all involved at Countryside, Alison Brooks – Architects, L&Q, and especially to Paul Rogers and him team at Terence O’Rourke (Countryside’s planning consultants) who submitted the application for the award.
In addition, Michael Spyrides would like to thank all the residents and neighbours at Dollis Valley who supported the scheme, for without their support, the scheme would have never have taken off the ground.
Well Done! Everybody Involved.
